If you demand the best this is it. When we have a customer come into the shop with a $5000 acoustic who’s looking for that type of quality and sound but with easier playability, the 900 is the only guitar we go to. Unlike our 20 and 50 Series guitars Denny uses a special bracing system on the 900 that allows the face to move half a millimeter more giving it more projection and power. When you hit a string on the 900 you feel it resonate through your gut. There’s very few guitars today that can do this, especially new guitars, and when you find one it’s usually the price of a small car. Read more

Venetian Cutaway Style A "Venetian Cutaway" is a guitar that has a section of the body "cut away" by the neck which makes it easier to slide your hand down low to reach chords near the sound hole. Denny braces the cutaways a little differently then his full box guitars so sound quality matches. If you’re a player that spends a lot of time on that part of the neck a cutaway box is invaluable.
Grade A Sitka Spruce Top Top Sitka which is known for its strength and durability comes from the Northern coast of British Columbia up into Alaska. It tends to have a warm pinkish/tan hue to it. Spruce offers a tight, punchy low end response with great projection. Players who demand a powerful sound with tons of projection will hear the benefit of a Sitka spruce top. Used on only the highest quality acoustic guitars in the world. |
Indian Rosewood 900CE Back-sides One of the most popular and traditional guitar woods of all time. Where mahogany lends itself to the midrange, rosewoods sonic profile is deeper in the low end. Not to take anything away from mahogany as many players will find it difficult to tell them apart, but the dedicated ear will notice a deeper, richer, sweeter tone coming from a rosewood guitar.
Hand Bent Figured Maple Binding Figured Maple binding is not only beautiful to look at but it also protects your guitar from bumps and nicks in daily use. Found generally on guitars exceeding the $2000+ price point.
Mahogany with Inlay Neck Mahogany—one of the most popular tone woods used on acoustic guitars for the last 50 years. Complete with hand laid contrast inlay.
Indian Rosewood Headstock Indian rosewood is commonly found on high-end guitars. This wood is heavier and more dense than mahogany and also is very stable and resonant. East Indian Rosewood is dark brown with sometimes purple-brown streaks giving a pleasant figure. The guitar head stock configuration is a registered trademark and is used under license from C.F. Martin & Co. Inc. of Nazareth, Pennsylvania, USA.
Zager Design (Hand Scalloped) Bracework The technique of scalloping or shaving the braces can have a huge impact on the power and tone of an acoustic guitar. By shaving or reducing the thickness of the brace, it becomes more flexible and therefore lets the top move more freely. When done by a Master Luthier the brace maintains its structural integrity, while making the top more efficient. The result is faster attack, longer sustain, more bass, more power, and an overall improvement in the whole tone system.
Full Abalone Inlay Inlay Abalone inlay is found on only the highest quality guitars. Laid by hand one piece at a time, the color and translucence of each piece changes with different amounts of light. Not only does it add to the overall look of your guitar, but it also adds to the value. Our 900 Pro Series guitars have an inlay rosette around the sound hole in combination with inlay around the entire face as well as small cross fret markers going up the fret board
Pearl Cross Fret-markers Used on only the highest quality guitars. Laid by hand on the fret board one piece at a time. It's a very tedious, time consuming process but the results are breathtaking
Figured Maple Inlay Back-detail This accent matches the guitars figured binding and abalone inlay perfectly to give it that extra expensive look of a pro series guitar. Laid by hand one piece at a time. Adds to the overall beauty and sets off the color of the wood. Found on only the highest quality guitars in the world.
High Gloss Finish High-gloss finish provides excellent protection but at the same time is extremely light and elastic. This is a crucial point in both the sound of the guitar and its ability to age—which is what makes a guitar sound better year after year. A thick finish muffles a guitar's vibration and blocks aging.
Custom Adjustment Setting Truss-rod Denny designs his guitars with a truss rod adjustment setting that allows you to dial in your guitar to your particular playing style. In this way if you're a heavy handed player you can set the action higher so you can "get on it" a little for more power, and if you're lighter handed touch player you can dial in the action low so you can move faster and play longer with less fatigue.
2023 Fishman Aura Pro Electronics Denny wanted only the finest electronics system for the 900 series so he called Larry Fishman at world renowned "Fishman Transducers." Fishman's new Aura digital imaging system allows you to plug into your computer and download hundreds of sound images that have been professionally mixed in Fishmans pro recording studios. You can select from images mixed specifically for your Zager, or hundreds of others depending on the sound you’re looking for. Denny used to spend countless hours in studio time dialing in the perfect sound for his guitars. Fishmans new imaging system does this for you by allowing you to select from images online that will give you the sound you want no matter what you're looking for. Read the reviews, talk to the pros, and you will see this system dominates every guitar electronics package on the market today.
Genuine Fishman Aura Built-in-automatic-tuner Ask any pro who makes the finest guitar electronics systems in the world and 9 out of 10 will say Fishman. An electronic tuner allows you to tune your guitar in a fraction of the time it takes using conventional tuning methods. Simply hit a string and the LCD indicator guides you into perfect pitch. A red and green light instantly lets you know when the tune is dead on. This is a very important tool for the new player who is trying to develop and train their ear for perfect pitch. It's also helps the professional player who wants to get in perfect tune fast.
Genuine Fishman Aura Built-in-equalizer Fishman equalizers are the highest quality equalizers used in acoustic guitars today. The equalizer is an electronic unit that controls the sound and volume when plugged into an amplifier or PA system. There are adjustments for highs, mids, lows, and presence. Fishman EQ's are used exclusively on high end acoustics by artists such as Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, Alan Jackson and Aerosmith to name just a few
Genuine Grover (gold) Tuning-machines Genuine Grover sealed tuning machines are found on only the finest guitars made. Look at tuners on $2500+ acoustics and you will see the majority have "Grovers." Unlike open gear tuners where the tuning mechanism is exposed, Grover sealed tuners contain a lubricant that keep the tuning mechanism sealed air-tight so the gears turn smooth and continue to for the life of your instrument. Lifetime warranty. If you have a tuner go bad we'll replace it free of charge for life.
Bone Hand Carved Nut Denny hand carves his nuts from bone for each guitar so the strings are set lower with custom spacing. Lower string heights make it easier to press down to form chords and it also increases finger speed. Custom spacing allows you to move faster with less buzzes, mutes, and rattles because you’re no longer bumping adjacent strings. Custom string spacing makes it easier for all hands sizes big and small. Lifetime warranty. Break a nut and we'll replace it free of charge for life
Tusq Hand Carved Saddle Denny hand carves each saddle for each individual guitar. Denny also adjusts the intonation settings to bring the guitar harmonically in balance with itself. This not only makes your guitar easier to play, but it also makes it sound more powerful. Customers say our guitars fall into tune easier and stay in tune longer...this is one of the reasons why. Denny uses only genuine "Tusq" brand saddles on his guitars which you generally only find on higher dollar acoustics . Lifetime warranty. Break a saddle and we'll replace it free of charge for life.
Zager Custom Lights Strings Zager custom strings are designed by Denny exclusively for his Guitars. We have customers using all brands and gauges of strings on our guitars with excellent results (Elixir, Martin, Fender, Gibson, D'addario) but these are the strings our customers seem to like the most on our guitars. Hand wound daily in our shop in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Zager Soft Touch (Hand Filed) Frets Denny hand files each fret one at a time on every guitar that leaves our shop. By filing the frets Denny achieves two important things. When sliding up and down the neck your fingers will no longer get irritated and sore and you won't suffer from what we call "String Bite" and overall finger fatigue. Secondly, when you file the frets by hand each fret will have the same uniform height. 9 times out of 10 when you have a buzzing string it has nothing to with your playing, it’s because you have a guitar with a fret that’s sitting away from the fret board hitting a string.
Lifetime Warranty Our warranty is simple. Lifetime on all guitars. A quality guitar should be made to last a lifetime and if it doesn't it wasn't a quality guitar to begin with. |

I am a beginner and I just wasn't real happy with the sound of my guitar and a friend told me about the Zager, I had been looking at the Martin but the cost was high for what I wanted, I ordered my Zager and from the 1st strum, I knew I was in love. Its a beautiful guitar and the sound is equal to a martin. I would highly recommend this to anyone. The customer service is the greatest.

How does this guitar compare with your old guitar, other guitars, or guitars you've tried in stores?
This is the absolute best guitar I have ever played. The most expensive guitar was a used PRS @3,000.00. I tried a $1,000.00 Martin and it was nice. I almost bought it!!!
What's your favorite part about this guitar?
I love the way it sounds unpluged and I love the way it sounds amped up with my Beringer 45 watt.
If you didn't know the price of this guitar what would you estimate the price to be?
Between $1500 and $2000
How would you rate customer support?
The best ever!!!
Would you recommend this guitar to others…if so why?
Yes and once they play it they are hooked!!!
Additional comments:
I bought it for myself and my 18 year old grandaughter heard me playing it unpluged and said it was the best sounding guitar she ever heard. I told her when I die I would give it to her in my will. I gave her the guitar and Zager case for Christmas. She was very very happy with happy tears. My 16 year old grandson was a little jealous. I have already given him an electric and an accoustic. I might have to buy another one for next Christmas. The good news is that they have both lived with me since they were babies and they still live with me so I get to play it sometime. I wish I had found Zager guitars sooner!!!

How does this guitar compare with your old guitar, other guitars, or guitars you've tried in stores?
Out of the box, the first thing I noticed was the quality of the case - solid, well made, truly protective, well worth the price. Out of the case the guitar was impressive! Construction was precise, clean and of high quality. I actually scrutinized the guitar for imperfections of any kind and found NOTHING! The finish was gorgeous - comparable to what I've seen in the most pricey guitars I've drooled over but could not afford. When I started playing, I was floored! The sound - crisp, full, rich, BIG! The playability - I never played so "clean", with so much less effort! Compared to my 31 year old (now cracked) Ovation Balladeer - and the many $800+ guitars that I've tried out over the years - the sound and the playability of the ZAD50 was strickingly superior. I was in Memphis several years ago and tried out a few guitars in the Gibson Factory Store after taking a tour of the factory. I almost bought one of the "low end" acoustics (for around $700)and am glad I didn't. Beside the fact that the low end models had not been manufactured in the factory I had just toured, in hindsight the finish was not nearly as meticulous as the ZAD50, the sound of the ZAD is fuller and richer, and the playability of ZAD50 is, at least for me and my style, far superior.
What's your favorite part about this guitar?
What I love the most about my new ZAD50 is the sound and the playability. I have been playing at an intermediate level for over 30 years, and have played friends' instruments, tried out many guitars in various stores, not to mention all those years of playing my Ovation( which, incidently, never sounded as good as the ZAD50, even when it was new). The tone, the fullness, and the sustain, and the amazing playability of this ZAD50 surpass everything else I have played. The look and finish of the guitar top it all off and result in a complete instrument that can be played and displayed with confidence and pride.
If you didn't know the price of this guitar what would you estimate the price to be?
Having had some exposure over the years to several high-end guitars, if I had seen and played the ZAD20 without any prior knowledge, I would have estimated its price to be at least around $1000. This instrument sets a new bar for the definition of "value".
How would you rate customer support?
I have had this guitar for almost one month and have had no issues that required customer support. However, if the quick reply to my email to Denny Zager to express my initial safisfaction is any indication, I suspect that any issues would be addressed equally expediently.
Would you recommend this guitar to others…if so why?
I would, without hesitation, recommend this guitar to anyone who has either a serious desire to learn, or anyone who has been playing and is looking for an upgrade. Many new students might be tempted to purchase what may appear to be an inexpensive, "descent", beginner guitar, only to be discouraged by an instrument that is hard to play, does not hold tune very well, and does not even sound very rewarding. Do it right from the start! The ZAD50 is a tremendous value. If you then find that playing guitar is not for you - for whatever reason that I could not imagine - then at least you can confidently rule out that it was not the instrument itself that contributed to that decision. For someone who has been playing and is looking for a step up, all I can say is, "Get a Zager!" When you receive it, everything you already love about playing guitar will most certainly be magnified.
Additional comments:
I am already looking forward to the prospect of upgrading... My daughter seems to be showing a serious interest in learning guitar. If that interest pans out, I will have no choice but to give her the best opportunity for success by offering her my ZAD50, and looking to a ZAD80 for myself.

How does this guitar compare with your old guitar, other guitars, or guitars you've tried in stores?
As I have played about all of them and owned most, I would have to say that this Parlor is unbelievably great!
What's your favorite part about this guitar?
I have many favorites about this guitar. Great tone, EZ Play, and customer service to name a few. Comes with a certificate of authorization, tee shirt, extra strings and picks.
If you didn't know the price of this guitar what would you estimate the price to be?
$1000-$1200
How would you rate customer support?
The most incredible I have ever seen! I had trouble tuning in the beginning learning the lighter touch and using a cheap acoustic tuner. Dennis Jr. sent me a heavier set of strings but I also bought a piezo headstock tuner that cured the problem. There was no problem with the guitar itself and they broke their backs helping me. Even offered a replacement. Free shipping and return shipping if you don't like it!
Would you recommend this guitar to others…if so why?
I already do and will continue to. Great value! I will most likely buy an OM style.
Additional comments:
I have been playing for 35+ years. Because of chronic arthritis, I wanted a playable small acoustic. This replaces my Takamine EAN10c which has a gorgeous tone but to me is now unplayable. The Parlor is exactly what I was looking for. A porch or recliner guitar. If I still could play out, I would mic it. It's that good! Only paid $375!! Got the hard case with the humidity sensor for $96. No tax, no shipping! The tee shirt I got was white in XL. I gave it to my wife. Ordered a XXL in black and got more picks! I can't understand how they make any money. Buy one!!

How does this guitar compare with your old guitar, other guitars, or guitars you've tried in stores?
I have had my Zager for about 8 years now. I have four guitars and the Zager is my "go to guitar". It is by far my favorite for its sound and ease of play.
What's your favorite part about this guitar?
The tone and playability is outstanding. I have played guitar with a friend that has a $2,500 Martin and my Zager guitar can hold its own.
If you didn't know the price of this guitar what would you estimate the price to be?
I would estimate my guitar was worth at least $1,000, although I paid hundreds less.
How would you rate customer support?
Dennis and Dennis Jr. have the most incredible service and support system that I have ever seen. They obviously are passionate about bringing the public a great product and stand behind their guitars 100%. I cannot believe how committed these guys are to customer service after the sale. I think every service company should take a chapter from their playbook on what it means to provide customer service. I really don't know when these guys find time to sleep.
Would you recommend this guitar to others…if so why?
For anyone looking for a great guitar whether you're a beginner or advanced player, then look no further than Zager. They play easy, sounds great, are very affordable. The Zager family stands behind the guitars that bears their name. What more can anyone ask for?

Even though it is an OM it has plenty of punch and is perfect plugged in. You and your Dad should be VERY PROUD of these instruments and the excellent service you offer! Many Thanks!

How does this guitar compare with your old guitar, other guitars, or guitars you've tried in stores?
I planned to use my old guitar to use when I was traveling around, but my ZAD50E sounds so much better and is so much easier to play, I believe that I will "retire" the old one.
What's your favorite part about this guitar?
The tone is fantastic, and the string spacing makes it so much easier to play.
If you didn't know the price of this guitar what would you estimate the price to be?
I recently showed my Zager guitar to a close relative who plays a lot, and I was told the people that bought Martins would be jealous. They felt that it had a similar sound, and would probably cost 3 to 4 times as much
How would you rate customer support?
The customer support is second to none. Fast, responsive, and goes out of their way to make sure their product is of the highest quality and that their customers are pleased with their investment.
Would you recommend this guitar to others…if so why?
Absolutely. I am so happy with my purchase, that I want to share my good fortune with others.

How does this guitar compare with your old guitar, other guitars, or guitars you've tried in stores?
Well, this is an easy question to answer, every guitar that I liked or that was recommended to me was usually well beyond what I had to spend or was a cheap copy of them. With that said none of them had the playability of the Zager or craftsmanship. Now don't get me wrong I looked at some beautifull guitars that sounded lovely but were way out of my price range, and none of them played as well.
What's your favorite part about this guitar?
Now this is a harder question to answer, they sound so full, are so well built yet the ease of play is remarkable. So saying I like just one thing is hard to say. I am no proffesional nor by some standards not even a guitar player, but I know what I like and I like all there is about my Zager, it's truly a work of art..
If you didn't know the price of this guitar what would you estimate the price to be?
After looking at all the fine guitars out there that I had on my list of likes, or should I say should check out, it would be easy to assume without knowing that this guitar would be in the $2,500 to $3,500 range.
How would you rate customer support?
If you are not already thinking about then this should make the case for you to look seriously at one of these beauties, Denny and his son will make sure are treated like family. Heaven forbid you have a problem I can assure you they will take care of you. The Zager's are no fly by night outfit, they are very caring people and your satisfaction is #1. I can honestly say that you will not be sorry!!
Would you recommend this guitar to others…if so why?
I think this is the best bang for the buck in the guitar industry. First class guitars, first class service, and first class people. So if you are in the market, you need to seriously gives these guitars a good look..
Additional comments:
I know buying something as personal as a guitar is hard to do when there is no place to actually try out first to compare, but after you have spent some time shopping around and you yhink you know what you want order one of these Zager's. When he says its unconditional satisfaction, he means it! Denny will take the guitar back no shipping fees and no hassels, and you at least got to try it out in your home risk free. What more can you ask for??

How does this guitar compare with your old guitar, other guitars, or guitars you've tried in stores?
I have owned numerous acoustics in the 15 or so years I have been playing. Including an Ibanez AEF18NT, Ovation celebrity custom, and a Martin. As far as the action goes my Zager blows all of them out of the water. It is reliable, it was inexpensive, and it looks great. My Martin's tone is hard to match but for the price it ought to be.
What's your favorite part about this guitar?
The action by far, it is amazing! It plays faster than my Schecter CSH-1 semi hollow electric. I love the fact that I can practice for hours with very little strain on my fingers without having to sacrifice tone to do so.
If you didn't know the price of this guitar what would you estimate the price to be?

Most of the big guitar names would ask 2 to 3 times as much but they will not take the time to hand adjust and set proper string heights. I am giving my Ovation to my daughter as a starter and if she stays with it she will purchase one of yours.

How does this guitar compare with your old guitar, other guitars, or guitars you've tried in stores?
I've been playing guitar over 40 years and currently own 10 guitars including a Martin Custom and a Gallagher G45. The Martin has been reworked moving the action as low as possible without any buzzing. My zad50e is equal to the Martin's playability, however the Martin's sound is almost muffled compared to the bright vibrant sound of the Zager. And that's with new strings on both.
What's your favorite part about this guitar?
Ease of play and sound can't be beat. Also the handy string tuner works great.
If you didn't know the price of this guitar what would you estimate the price to be?
I've played $1200 to $1800 guitars that did not play as well

the last guitar i had was very hard to play. Being that it wasn't expensive, strings hard to push and the neck was too wide. When I opened the case of the ZAD-50 it was obvious that it was a quality product. Also being that it was on the low end of your line of guitars this guitar anyone would be proud to own.
What's your favorite part about this guitar?
The one that I bought was the solid black,it is absolutly beautiful. It has a slim neck with strings that you don't have to force. I still cannot get over the looks and feel of this product, I was pleasantly surprised.
If you didn't know the price of this guitar what would you estimate the price to be?
Being that it is an acoustical I would price it in the 800 to 1000 dollar range.
How would you rate customer support?
Well to begin with it was shipped in record time. Also your reply to my questions were prompt and informative. To rate I would say it is excellent.
Would you recommend this guitar to others…if so why?
Yes because you have a product that anyone would be proud to have, also the customer is not left in the dark when it comes to improving your skills and learning new and advanced skills.

How does this guitar compare with your old guitar, other guitars, or guitars you've tried in stores?
It's a little different than my others, which is what I was looking for. I own a 93 Guild F30, a Takamine EF341SC and a Fender ESD-10 Dreadnaught. I wanted something that fit somewhere in the middle for gig's. This fit the bill perfectly.
What's your favorite part about this guitar?
The whole package is nicely done. The sound is it;s own, and the Neck is nicely set with Binding, and the frets are nicely dressed. As a professional musician here in NY, Any guitar I get usually needs some tweaking to "my" spec's. This was closer than most right out of the box. Grover Tuners and Tusk nut and Bridge come standard.
If you didn't know the price of this guitar what would you estimate the price to be?
This would feel like a $899 - $999 GC special...

Top notch, when I fist sent an e-mail to them, I never thought I;d hear back, or it would take a week or two for an automated response. 50 minutes later Dennis Zager jr. sent me an e-mail. He is right on the money. Their CS is second to none in any business.

I have two vintage Guild acoustic 6 strings I still play a lot and have had for many years...I have also had Gibson Epiphone Electric...and a good Yamaha that was owned by a celebrity...which I gave to my son-in-law.
What's your favorite part about this guitar?
EVERYTHING! I am so thankful to God for the beautiful sunburst color, the great style and design, the built in tuner, pickup and controls, and the way it plays is so tremendous...and the sound is beautiful...both as acoustic and when plugged in for amplification!!!!
If you didn't know the price of this guitar what would you estimate the price to be?
I would say $1,200.00 to $1,500.00...This by far and matches or excels the Martin's.

The Zager family is great in support and personally answering all of your questions in a most cordial way. They are like working with a true family instead of some big impersonal company.
Would you recommend this guitar to others…if so why?
I think for the money that there is nothing close that can even touch what this guitar offers in style, performance, looks, sound...you name it!!!!
Additional comments:
I am so thankful to have my Zager guitar and plan to play it for the Lord at church for the glory of God! I want more and more people to be born again and find true life and purpose in Jesus Christ alone!

How does this guitar compare with your old guitar, other guitars, or guitars you've tried in stores?
I purchased the 900CE. I have owned several guitars since I was a young boy. I am now 51 years old. I have owned several brands of acoustics (including a non-electric Fender and an electric Esteban). I have played Martins in the last few weeks at music stores in the Houston area. Both brands played very well. The Zegar 900CE is no doubt the best playing and sounding of ANY I have played.
What's your favorite part about this guitar?
It's difficult to zero in on one part. Let me say that from the exquisite details of the Venetian Cutaway, the Sitka Spruce Top, the Indian Rosewood back and sides, Hand Bent Figured Maple Binding, African Mahogany with Inlay, the Hand Scalloped bracework, the Full Abalone Inlay, Pearl Fret Marker, Figured Maple Inlay (back), High Gloss Finish, Truss Rod, 5011 Fishman AURA Electronics, Built In Equalizer, Genuine Grover Tuning, Zager Hand Carved Nut, Zager Custom Lights Strings (by Martin), Zager Soft Touch (hand filed) Frets, and the Lifetime Warranty. I said all that to say....EVERYTHING. By the way, I have not fully taken in everything yet!
If you didn't know the price of this guitar what would you estimate the price to be?
Based on my research and seeing the prices of guitars I played in music stores in Houston, I would have to estimate this guitar to be $5000 plus.
How would you rate customer support?
I am Operations Manager for a company here in Houston. I have to deal with people all day long for all kinds of reasons. BAR NONE...Dennis and Jill have gone far beyond the NORM in helping me with everything. There is a reason they are rated #1 in customer support. My emails were and continue to be responded to in a prompt and professional manner. The ethics and principles they use ought to be taught to every company and individual that ever has to work with another company or individual....OUTSTANDING!
Would you recommend this guitar to others…if so why?
If you have read what I wrote above....DO I REALLY HAVE TO TYPE ANYTHING HERE? :)
Additional comments:
One thing...my fingers were sore most of the time when I played my Fender. Maybe I had the wrong strings or something. All I know is the quality, the ease of pressing the strings, and the sound that comes from playing the Zegar 900CE can't be really be described. It is something you have to personally experience to understand! AND NO, THEY DIDN'T PAY ME OR AS ME TO TYPE ANY OF THIS.

How does this guitar compare with your old guitar, other guitars, or guitars you've tried in stores?
This is a beautifully appointed solid mahogany guitar that compares very favorably with all of my other guitars, all of which are Martins (D-19, D-41, OM-41sp). It is loud and crisp yet balanced. It would not be fair to compare it directly to the other OM I own because that is a much higher end instrument, and also a rosewood guitar. But the 50 OM by Zager is a superb instrument in sound, and very easy to play. I did change out the strings it came with to regular lights (Martin Lifespan) and, for me, that made a huge difference. Great guitar!
What's your favorite part about this guitar?
The playability. Once I put on my favorite set of strings and tweaked the truss rod a bit it became exceptionally easy to play. And it is beautiful to look at; stained mahogany and natural spruce top are a very nice combination; the abalone rosette is really nice.
If you didn't know the price of this guitar what would you estimate the price to be?
If I was handed this guitar without knowing it was a Zager I think I would have probably assumed it was a Larrivee or comparable and would have expected to pay between $850 and $1,000.
How would you rate customer support?
Customer support -- only the very best I have ever experienced. Astonishing, really! Immediate response to email, quick to help out. Dennis handles things personally and I have never been so well looked after.
Would you recommend this guitar to others…if so why?
Absolutely. For the nay-sayers and those who immediately think Zager guitars are second rate I suggest you take another look. You would have NOTHING to lose. I will tell you honestly that I was completely prepared to take advantage of their offer -- no strings attached money back and they pay shipping BOTH WAYS if you don't like the guitar. Suffice to say I am keeping mine.
Additional comments:
The guitar I bought is to be the first nice acoustic guitar for my 15 year-old son, who mainly plays electric. He is a fine player, and I needed to find something that had a slimmer neck (I prefer the V-neck on my OM-41, but my son is used to a Strat and Les Paul) -- and it needs to sound great because he's played my Martins and he has a great ear. What I got for my $500 is AMAZING.
